Captains Day 2014 - Captains Message - Wed 13 August 2014
I would like to thank everyone for helping me out during the run up and on the actual day.For me it was a very enjoyable but tiring day!! I am really grateful for all the generosity shown by all of you. Thanks to Gavin and Nathan for their help, and to Joe and the greenkeeping staff for letting me dig extra holes in their greens! Also a special thanks to Liam who gave up his day off to man the 10th tee on the Beat The Pro Challenge. Of the few people to actually beat him most put the money straight back into the charity pot. A massive thanks to all of them. The purpose of the day was to raise money for Cancer Research UK, but also be a fun day for all of you. With your help and generosity we managed to make over a £1000 for the charity. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did. Thank you, Andy. A list of the results can be found on the results page of the website.
